Former Nigeria U19 volleyball player, Arinze Nwachukwu won his first professional trophy with Fenerbahçe Volleyball Club on Wednesday.

Fenerbahçe VC defeated Arkas Spor Izmir 3-1 (25-15, 20-25, 25-20, 25-20) in the final of the 2020 Turkish Men’s Volleyball Super Cup.

Arinze Nwachukwu expressed delight winning his first major trophy in his first season with the Turkish volleyball giants.

The opposite player said, “I feel so excited winning the Turkish Men’s Volleyball Super Cup because this is my first international cup I will be lifting as a player. Last year, I featured for Nigeria at the African Games in Morocco but we could not reach the semi final and the next assignment was to put in more effort at my club side.
