Nigeria U20 women’s national team, the Falconets, will face Poland and South Korea in international friendlies as part of their final preparations for the 2026 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, www.aclsports.com reports.
The Falconets will face tournament hosts Poland on Friday, 28 August, at the Municipal Stadium in Brzeg, with kick-off at 12 noon local time, before taking on South Korea on 1 September at the Remes Resort & Spa Football Stadium, with kick-off at 4pm.
Two-time silver medallists Nigeria arrived in Trzebnica on Tuesday and held their first training session the following day at the Stadion Miejski, Fair Play Arena, under Head Coach Moses Aduku and his technical crew.
There have been two changes to the squad, with captain Joy Igbokwe and defender Faridat Abdulwahab unable to secure visas. Vivian Kachi and Alaba Olabiyi have been called up as their replacements.
Nigeria have been drawn in Group F alongside Spain, China PR and New Caledonia. The Falconets will face Spain on 7 September, China PR on 10 September and New Caledonia on 13 September.
