The transfer window may have closed a few days ago, but clubs are still making moves ahead of the next one in January.

Juventus are one of such clubs, and want to lure the trio of Emre Can, Andres Iniesta and Leon Goretzka away from their respective clubs.

The three players are on the last year of their contracts, and the Turin side, who have signed some talented players in the past on a free, are looking to pounce on them to fortify their midfield.

According to reports, the Old Lady have identified the three as serious targets, and have already set things in motion to prise them away.

Emre Can

Juve were in for Can in the summer window, but had a bid of £23million rejected by the Reds for the German international, as per the Sun. They are expected to come back for him, with the 23-year-old ready to sign a pre-contract with them in January.

“His contract expires in June. We’ll be able to negotiate with him from January. We won’t hide the fact we like him.

“He is currently a Liverpool player, so we can only admire him from afar,” Juve CEO, Moratta was quoted by the Sun to have said recently.

Andres Iniesta

On Iniesta, the Italian champions are buoyed by the fact the Spain international hinted that he could leave the Catalan giants, after he was quoted to have said he’s considering his future and is yet to renew at Camp Nou.

Leon Goretzka

On Goretzka, who rejected a new deal to stay at Schalke, the Turin side will have to battle German champions, Bayern Munich for his signature.

Goretzka could be reunited with former team mate at the Veltins Arena, Benedikt Howedes, who joined Juventus this summer.
