Former Enyimba striker Tosin Omoyele has joined Algerian Ligue Un side USM Khenchela on a permanent deal, www.aclsports.com reports.

Omoyele, 26, left former African champions Enyimba this summer at his expiration of his contract with the People’s Elephant and has now joined USMK on a two-year deal.

The former Plateau United striker spent the second part of the last Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season at Katsina United.

USM Khenchela were champions of the Algerian second division, sealing a remarkable promotion to the elite division and have now solidified their playing squad with the addition of Omoyele who has been capped at senior level with Nigeria.

The move to Algeria makes it a return to North Africa for the Osun-state born star after a productive spell at Egyptian side Nogoom FC in 2019.

He is expected to make his competitive debut for USMK when they face Constantine in a local derby to mark the beginning of the Algerian top division on August 26.
