Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong has sealed his move to Italian outfit, Udinese Calcio. Troost-Ekong joined the Serie A side from his Turkish club side, Bursaspor for an undisclosed fee.

“Ekong is a player with an important physical structure,” Technical director at the club, Daniele Prade said. “We speak of an aggressive central defender skilled in the air, both in defense and offensive.”

Ekong’s transfer continues the trend of Nigerians changing clubs this summer.

The 25-year-old was part of Nigeria’s team to the just concluded world cup in Russia, featuring in all group matches.
