Six-time African Player of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, scored a brace as Al Hilal drew 3–3 with Al Ahli in the Saudi Women’s Premier League on Thursday, www.aclsports.com reports.

The 31-year-old struck twice in the first half—first with a close-range finish in the 31st minute, then calmly converting a penalty in the 42nd minute after drawing a foul in the box. The brace takes her season tally to eight league goals and two assists, and 15 goals with three assists in all competitions.

Al Hilal opened the scoring in the 29th minute through Ghizlane Chebbak, who slotted the ball from the center of the box. Al Ahli pulled one back in the 36th minute following an own goal by Nawal Al-Gelaish, keeping the contest alive. Oshoala’s penalty restored Al Hilal’s two-goal cushion, but Naomie Kabakaba reduced the deficit in first-half stoppage time to make it 3–2 at the break.

Al Ahli completed their comeback in the second half. Kabakaba, following a fast break, delivered a precise cross for Fadwa Khaled, who rose highest to head home from close range in the 65th minute, leveling the score at 3–3.

With the draw, Al Hilal sit third in the Saudi Women’s Premier League with 16 points, level on points with second-placed Al Ittihad and eight points behind leaders Al Nassr. They will next face NEOM.
