Heartland Queens will face Nasarawa Amazons in the 2026 Women’s President Federation Cup final www.aclsports.com reports.

The Owerri side booked their place in the title decider after a dramatic 2-1 victory over FC Robo Queens in Benin City, producing a strong display to reach the final for the first time in the club’s history.

Starting brightly, Heartland took control of proceedings early in the game. Their pressure paid off in the 18th minute when Umejiaku Oluebube opened the scoring with a well-taken header to put her side ahead.

FC Robo responded after the break and levelled the score through Tosin Rafiu, setting up a tense battle between the two sides.

With the match heading towards extra time, Heartland found the winning goal late in the contest. Faith Samson rose highest from Chizoba Johnson’s corner kick in the 87th minute to head home and secure a famous victory.

Meanwhile, Nasarawa Amazons reached the President Federation Cup final for the second consecutive year after edging Sunshine Queens 2-1 in the other semi-final at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.

Amazons took the lead through Ayatsea Hembafan in the 18th minute before Sunshine Queens levelled deep into stoppage time. However, Nasarawa responded almost immediately, with Jumoke Alani scoring in the 94th minute to seal their place in the final.

Heartland Queens and Nasarawa Amazons will battle for the trophy on July 11 at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State.
