This news comes on the heels of the recent poor run of results by the team which has taken the London side further down to 19th on the log with a negative goal difference of -37 and 17 points after 28 games.

Although the Italian came into the scene to salvage the situation at the club less than 4 months ago when he was appointed on the 14th of November, 2018 but in that period Ranieri’s side managed only 3 wins and 3 draws, losing 11 of all 17 games played since his appointment.

He will now be replaced by his assistant and former player at the club, Scott Parker whose first assignment will be to get a result at home to Chelsea on Sunday afternoon. This will be followed by fixtures against some of the top sides in the league including Liverpool and Manchester City.
