Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen has added his voice to the #EndSARS protest after scoring his first-ever goal for SSC Napoli in the Serie A on Saturday.

Osimhen’s first competitive goal in Italy came during their impressive destruction of high-flying Atalanta at the Stadio San Paolo, Naples.

In a rampaging and dominant first half display, two goals from Hirving Lozano and another from Matteo Politano gave Napoli a handy 3-0 lead before Osimhen netted the best goal of the afternoon to extend the scoreline just before the break.

The 21-year-old, who joined Napoli earlier this summer from France, superbly controlled with his chest a ball from goalkeeper David Ospina before letting fly from over 30 yards out and into the bottom corner for his first goal in the Serie A.

The moment @victorosimhen9 scores his first @sscnapoli goal, more to come.

Osimhen talked about him watching a lot of Didier Drogba and I guess the Ivorian will be nodding in admiration to this.

The former Lille of France star scored the fourth of the day to ensure Napoli took an even more comfortable 4-0 lead at the end of the first half

The excited Osimhen would celebrate with his manager, Gattuso, before showing solidarity to his fellow Nigerian youths back home in Nigeria who have been calling on the government for over a week to put a stop to Police Brutality and #EndSARS.

“Have accomplished all I thought was impossible, through God, now I know better,” Osimhen said after the game via his social media account.

“Time for limitless goals and desires. God is the greatest, we move,” he added.

Osimhen, who was excused from the Super Eagles team that recently played two warm up games against Algeria and Tunisia in Austria during the just concluded international break, now has one goal and an assist to his name in three games in the Serie A this season for Napoli.
