The 21-year-old sealed a season-long loan move from English Premier League side, Everton, to theTurkish Super Lig, where he would spend the 2018/2019 season at the home of current champions, Galatasaray.

He joined the Toffees from modest Belgian side, KAA Eupen in the summer of 2017 before joining another team from Belgium, Anderlecht on loan.

The Nigerian played 28 times scoring ten goals for Anderlecht before his season was cut short by injury, ending his dream of featuring for the Super Eagles at the just concluded FIFA World Cup in Russia.
