Super Eagles defender Olisa Ndah has made his debut for Libyan Premier League side Al Shomooa SC in a narrow 1-0 defeat to Al Ittihad SC, reports www.aclsports.com.
In the game decided at Al Khums Stadium, the former Orlando Pirates defender played the full 90 minutes, completing his first appearance for the Libyan side despite the disappointing result.
Noufel Ezarhoni scored the decisive goal for the visitors in the 20th minute, giving Al Ittihad an early advantage.
Al Shomooa pushed for an equaliser but struggled to find a breakthrough, as Al Ittihad held on to secure all three points.
Ndah joined the Libyan club following the expiration of his contract with South African outfit Stellenbosch FC, marking another chapter in his professional career.
The defender, who won the Nigerian league title with Akwa United, also enjoyed success during his time with Orlando Pirates, winning four MTN Cups and two Nedbank Cup.
He will now aim to build on his first appearance and establish himself as a key figure in Al Shomooa’s defence.
