Dreamstar Ladies and Rangers Women remain unbeaten and edge closer to promotion after playing out a 0–0 draw in the 2025 NWFL Nationwide in Abuja, www.aclsports.com reports.
It was a balanced contest between two organised sides whose defensive strength has been key to their impressive campaigns. Rangers have conceded just once in the competition, while Dreamstar have let in only two goals, and both defences stood firm again as neither side could find a breakthrough.
The stalemate keeps Dreamstar atop the table with 10 points from four matches, while Rangers sit in second with 7 points, keeping the race for promotion intense.
Plateau Queens were held to a 2–2 draw by C2E Sports Academy in a thrilling encounter. Agnes Ohuche gave C2E the lead, but Juliana Abwo struck twice to put Plateau ahead, only for Ohuche to snatch a late equaliser. Despite missing out on maximum points, Plateau remain in contention with 4 points, while C2E sit on 1.
In Group B, Solo Wonders FC climbed to the top with a 2–1 win over Rosaria Victrix. Jessica Obinna scored twice to overturn an early goal from Priscilliac Oforhaihe, giving Solo Wonders 7 points and a slender lead over Rosaria (6) and Alexander Queens (5). Alexander Queens drew 2–2 with NAF Queens in another exciting clash, sharing the spoils in a back-and-forth game.
With just a few matches left in the campaign, Dreamstar and Rangers continue to lead the way in Group A, while Solo Wonders look set to challenge for promotion to the NWFL Championship in Group B.
