Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries football club, MFM FC, have lost more grounds in the NPFL, after a 0-0 draw at home to Lobi Stars on Sunday.

The Olukoya Boys have dropped to the third in Group A following their second consecutive draw at home.

MFM were held to a 1-1 by Enyimba in their last outing at the Soccer Temple, and on a slightly cool Sunday in Agege, they dropped points for the second successive time, this time against champions, Lobi, in a week 15 encounter.

The home side started the match with their top scorer at home this season, Adeniji Kabir, on the bench and it came back to haunt them as they struggled for goals.

In a rather disappointing outing from both teams,  neither sides created any real chance of note despite MFM dominating proceedings from start to finish.

With the two teams finding it difficult to get past their well drilled defenses in open play, it was the home side who did come close on a number of occasions via set pieces.

However, it would take until the 77th minute for a Zikiye Jonathan attempt to finally give the visitors something to worry about when his well-struck effort went narrowly wide.

Lobi held on for a valuable away point, and were obviously the happier of the two going by their celebrations when the referee called time on the match.

With the result, MFM remain unbeaten at home this season but another lost points at home sees them drop to third on the log on 24 points, same as Enyimba who move above them to second after a 2-0 win over Kwara United with a superior goal difference.

Lobi are a further three points behind in fourth, as Fidelis Ilechukwu and his boys now trail leaders, Rangers International, who extended their lead at the top thanks to another away win- a 2-1 victory over Sunshine Stars in Akure.
