At the City Ground, Joy Omewa was once again decisive for Nottingham Forest Women in their 2–1 win over Durham Women in the Women’s Super League 2 on Sunday. She opened the scoring in the 14th minute, reacting quickest at the back post after a Cerys Brown delivery was spilled by the goalkeeper to turn home her third goal for the club. Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah doubled Forest’s lead six minutes later, before Lily Agg pulled one back for Durham in the 30th minute.
Between the posts, three-time CAF Goalkeeper of the Year Chiamaka Nnadozie delivered another assured performance, keeping a clean sheet against Leicester City to make it six for the season, which is joint second-highest in the Barclays Women’s Super League, just one behind Chelsea’s Hannah Hampton.
Over in Turkey, Regina Otu scored Fenerbahçe Women’s 100th league goal of the season in a 3–0 triumph over Amed SK Women. The midfielder struck in the 14th minute, scoring the second goal of the game, as Fenerbahçe secured their 21st win of an unbeaten campaign. Flourish Sabastine also started as the league leaders continued their flawless run.
Jennifer Echegini played a key creative role for Paris Saint-Germain Féminine, setting up Sakina Karchaoui for their second goal in a 2–1 win over Nantes in Division 1 Féminine. Rasheedat Ajibade came on in the 71st minute, injecting fresh energy as PSG held on for the victory.
In Saudi Arabia, Francisca Ordega set up Leticia Nunes for the opener in Al Ittihad Women’s 2–1 victory over Al Qadsiah Women on Friday, before a late winner sealed the comeback after Adriana had equalised.
Six-time CAF Women’s Player of the Year Asisat Oshoala registered an assist for Al Hilal Women in their 4–1 defeat to Al Nassr Women, setting up Ghizlane Chebbak. The result confirmed Al Nassr as champions of the 2025/2026 season. Oshoala’s assist was her third in the league, alongside nine goals, taking her overall tally to 20 goal contributions (16 goals and four assists) across all competitions.
