A technical committee member of the Kickboxing Federation of Nigeria, Ambassador Henry George charged kickboxers to be more aggressive and technical during their bouts.

George stated this at the recently concluded National Kickboxing Championships in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

The President DFC Africa told www.aclsports.com that the championship had in attendance top fighters who are preparing for the upcoming National Sports Festival in Abuja.

He said, “Nigeria fighters need to be more technical and aggressive because they will not only be fighting African opponents but European challengers at International championships. The competitors were very impressive I must confess. Basically, fighting system around the globe has evolved”.

He advised officials to attend refresher courses in order to be in touch with the recent trend of the rules.

“Regular participation in officiating courses will definitely keep officials on top of their game. Their performances so far are really commendable”.

George said, “We want to say thank you to the sponsor, Chief Mako Pougatorio for providing the opportunity for our athletes to express themselves In combat as part of preparation for 19th National Sports Festival in Abuja”.
