Juventus agree £18.2m deal for PSG midfielder Matuidi

Italian champions, Juventus have agreed a fee to sign Paris St-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi for a reported fee of £18.2 million plus add-ons.

The French international has been at the capital club since joning them from St.Etienne in 2011, but has now been allowed to leave the Ligue 1 club.

Juventus CEO, Giuseppe Marotta, was in France recently, where he met the Antero Henrique, director at PSG, to conclude a deal for the 30-year-old.

Matuidi, who has won four league titles during his time with the club, has agreed to a three-year contract with the 2017 UEFA CL finalists.

Matuidi, who has ayear left in his PSG contract, is expected to be a Juve player just before their Serie A opener against Cagliari.
