Adorable Angels of Ilorin continued their fine run beating Seasiders Babes 42 – 23 at the ongoing 2020 Prudent Energy Handball League in Abuja.

The former U15 champions dictated the pace of the game from the blast of the whistle till the end cancelling the Seasiders matchmaker, Khadijat Musbau which affected the style of the Lagos based team

With the win over Seasiders Babes, Adorable Angels sit in third position winning 4 games and 1 draw after match day 8

The National Division one champion are currently the highest goal scoring team of the league scoring 150 goals, conceding 104 goals with a difference of +46 goals.

Adorable Angels’ player, Idowu Abdulrasaq told www.aclsports.com that beating Seasiders Babes sends a signal to other teams.

Abdulrasaq said the chance of her team making the top three is bright.

She said, “It was a pleasure winning the game against Seasiders Babes because we have sent a warning signal to other teams who are underrating us. We are aware other teams are ready to challenge us but with God on our side, we shall overcome.

“Our chances in the league are very bright; Adorable Angels will do better and score more goals in our subsequent matches”.
