FCT win 3rd Nasarawa National Open Karate Championship

FCT won 13 medals to emerge as winners of the 3rd Nasarawa National Open Karate Championship in Keffi on Sunday.

FCT won six gold, four silver and three bronze while Strata Base Karate Club were second with three gold and three silver. Niger State finished third with two gold, five silver and three bronze at the just concluded tournament.

Taraba State came fourth with two gold and five bronze while Nasarawa State finished fifth with three medals two gold and one bronze. Federal Fire Service were sixth with two gold medals while Bayelsa State finished seventh with one gold, two silver and one bronze at the 3rd Nasarawa National Open Karate Championship in Keffi on Sunday.

Rivers State won one gold, one silver and four bronze to finish seventh. Plateau and Delta states placed joint eighth with one gold respectively.

NASK won two silver and one bronze to finish in 10th position, and Kano state with one silver and seven bronze medals finished 11th. Waza Karate Club, Lagos state and REIN of Abuja placed joint twelfth place with one silver respectively while Ondo state won one bronze to finish fifteenth position.
