Foremost Nigeria businessman, Aliko Dangote is yet to commence the renovation of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

The minister of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare on 7th November, 2019 told journalists in Abuja that the African richest man promised that work will start in about one to two weeks.

“And we will use the same model for several of our stadia. At least, the three other big ones and the ministry are looking at between now and March 2020 to have four big stadia, football pitches with FIFA standard.

“And I think if given time, within a year, this country should be ready to host any FIFA soccer tournament”.
