Tunisia Handball Federation and Club Africain Du Tunis of Tunisia has honoured ex player, Ibrahim Nadabo for his contribution to the success of the club while playing his trade in North Africa.

Nadabo who is currently the President of Nigeria Handball Coaches Association was invited for the 2020 African Nations Cup by the Tunisia Handball Federation.

An elated Ibrahim Nadabo told www.aclsports.com that Club Africain Du Tunis remains one of the best teams he has played for in his career.

Nadabo said Club Africain Du Tunis were able to conquer Africa in the club championship as well as intimidate other clubs in the country during the 90’s till now.

The ex international threw his weight behind his former club calling on former players of Club Africain Du Tunis to support the current board in returning the club back to the Zenith.

He said, “I was awarded by both the Tunisian Handball Federation and the famous Club Africain. I am now an ambassador of Club Africain with pronounced and visible proof.

“Club Africain Du Tunis remains one of the best handball team I have played for during my active days. We did terrorise handball teams the world over also winning the Arabic championships during our generation”.

He further said, “We won the Tunisian Championships, President Cups, African Cups, Arabic Cups and several invitational tournaments. I won the best and most spectacular sports man that has ever entered into Tunisia.

“During my playing days, I won the best player many times and the highest scorer; I also won some seasons collective Most Valuable Player. This great recognition accorded me came 26 years after I left Tunisia.

“I am calling on former players of this great club to rally support for the current board and proffer solutions when needed in order for us to return to our rightful position”.

The former Eras Valencia of Spain player revealed to www.aclsports.com that he will do everything within his power to see that Nigeria players are given the s opportunity to play for Club Africain Du Tunis.

“In our league, we have good crop of players that can play outside the country. What I can do is recommended these players to the club side and all the Nigerian players have to do is pass the screening exercise organised by the club side.
