Cape Verde ready to host the first Beach Games

Cape Verde became ready to host the Beach Volleyball Competition at the 2019 First African Beach Games, which includes also another 10 sports.

The Beach Volleyball tournament is known to include the top 24 national teams as per the CAVB Ranking in 1 May.

This ranking followed the 2019 CAVB Beach Volleyball Cup of Nations in Nigeria.

The participating teams will be divided into 6 preliminary pools playing a round robin format to determine the top 8 teams who will play a single elimination table to determine the medallists and the top 8 teams in the standings.

Sal is one of the Cape Verde Islands located in the east of the country’s 10 islands located in the eastern part of the area.
