Rangers International of Enugu goalkeeper, Nana Bonsu, is under no illusions that the Flying Antelopes have all it takes to continue their journey in the CAF Confederation Cup, CAFCC when they host Algerian side, USMBA this weekend .

Rangers will take on Union Sportive Madinet Bel Abbes, USMBA, in a crucial second leg tie at their Enugu home, the Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium, also known as Cathedral.

The first leg ened goalless and according to their Ghanaian shot stopper, they have all the ingredients needed to seal their place in the next round.

“Firstly, i give thanks to almighty God who has made the results possible just as I won’t fail to appreciate my parents who are pray for me as well as the supporters of Rangers that have always been there for us,” Bonsu told the club.

“They [USMBA] are a good side but we have what it takes to earn the win that will take us to the next round. The self belief and unity in the team will surely see us through this game with USMBA.”

Bonsu, who has kept two clean sheets in three CAFCC outings this season, also used the opportunity to call on fans of the club to come out en masse to cheer their side to victory.

“I urge our fans to come in their numbers to sing us to another great victory,” he added.

A win for Rangers, Nigeria’s sole representative in the CAFCC, against USMBA on Sunday, will see the Flying Antelopes qualify for the next phase of the competition, where they will face one of the teams expected to drop from the CAF Champions League.

Meanwhile, Rangers opponents on Sunday, USMBA, have since arrived Enugu with their 35-man delegation and are currently staying at the four-star Golden Royal Hotel, Enugu.

That encounter is slated to kickoff at 4:00pm Nigerian time.
