2024/2025 NWFL champions, Bayelsa Queens, will face Ghana’s Police Ladies, Togo’s ASKO, and Benin’s Sam Nelly in Group B of the CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU-B qualifiers, www.aclsports.com reports.

The draw, released on Wednesday, sets the stage for a fierce qualifying battle in Côte d’Ivoire from August 23 to September 4.

Bayelsa Queens, winners of the 2022 WAFU-B title and bronze medalists at the CAF Women’s Champions League that year, are aiming for a return to the continental stage. Their Group B rivals, Ghana’s Police Ladies, Togo’s ASKO (Association Sportive of Togo), and Benin’s Sam Nelly, will be equally determined to make their mark.

Competition Format
The seven participating teams have been split into two groups, with three points awarded for a win, one for a draw, and none for a loss. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals to decide the two teams that will contest for a place in the CAF Women’s Champions League finals.
