Aso Sky Hawks defeated Rivers Hoopers 74-67 to secure qualification, ending the host side’s six-game winning run in the Final 8. The victory was Sky Hawks’ fifth of the playoffs and ensured every team suffered at least one defeat in the tournament.
Gboko City Chiefs edged Lagos Raptors 78-76 in a tightly contested game to secure their progression to the next stage. Marcus Thomas Jr. scored the decisive points in the closing stages as the Benue side also recorded their fifth win of the playoffs.
The reigning champions Maktown Flyers bounced back from their defeat to Rivers Hoopers with a 64-54 victory over 313 Warriors. The result gave Maktown Flyers a positive finish to the playoffs, while the Warriors ended theirs with a loss.
Kano Pillars secured their second victory of the playoffs with a 68-53 win over Hoops & Read. The result left the Lagos-based side without a win across their seven games, while Kano Pillars also missed out on the Final 4.
