An unlikely source may have put an end to speculations linking Manchester United wide forward, Anthony Martial, with a move away from the club this summer.

There have been intense speculation surrounding the future of Martial at Old Trafford, but his cousin, Jema, took to social media to all but confirm that the ex-Monaco man is set to stay at the club, as he won’t be leaving anytime soon.

Revealing this much in a tweet, which has since been deleted, Jema said; “For Manchester United, Anthony’s departure is not a possibility, even on loan. They rely on him.”

Jema’s tweet seems to corroborate the thoughts of Martial’s manager at the club, Jose Mourinho, who had earlier fueled suggestions that the 21-year-old’s immediate future lies at the club.

“Everybody is in the plan. The plan is to have a good squad, not just a good team,” Mourinho had said earlier this month.

Martial , who came in as a substitute in United’s opening match in the PL against Westham, scoring 1 and assisting another as they ran out 4-0 winners, has been linked recently with Tottenham Hotspurs, and Italian club, Inter Milan, who insist that the youngster be included in any deal that will see Ivan Perisic move to England.

However, Martial looks set to remain at the club, and look to win the trust of his manager, Mourinho, having started just 18 times in the Portuguese’s first season at the club.
