Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade, scored her first goal for Paris Saint-Germain Féminine in the UEFA Women’s Champions League in a 2–1 loss to Real Madrid, www.aclsports.com reports.

Real Madrid took control early in the game through goals from Naomie Feller in the 29th minute and Alba Redondo just before halftime. Ajibade pulled one back for PSG in the 57th minute, showing great composure to head home from Sakina Karchaoui’s precise cross.

In Portugal, Christy Ucheibe featured from the start as Benfica fell 2–0 to defending champions Arsenal. Beth Mead opened the scoring in the 57th minute, before Alessia Russo sealed the win with a late strike in the 89th. Ucheibe battled hard in defence but couldn’t inspire a comeback for the Portuguese champions.

The women’s international break is up next, with Nigeria’s players set for their 2025 WAFCON qualifiers against Benin Republic. The first leg is scheduled for October 24 at the Stade de Kégué in Lomé, Togo, while the return leg will be played on October 28 at the MKO Abiola International Stadium in Abeokuta, Nigeria.
