In England, Senegal star Sadio Mane hits 50 goals for Liverpool who stretched their flawless run to eight matches on Saturday, with the 27-year-old winger opening the scoring against Leicester City, 2-1.

In Italy, there was some silver lining for struggling AC Milan, who defeated Genoa 2-1 in an away fixture on Saturday. Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie scored the winning goal from the spot kick.

PSG summer recruit Idrissa Gueye continues living up to the expectations at Parc des Princes. He contributed one goal in the club’s 4-0 demolishing of visiting Angers in the French Ligue 1.

Club Brugge in Belgium handed Gent a 4-0 drubbing at the Jan Breydel Stadium on Sunday to move to top of the league table. Senegalese duo Krepin Diatta and Mbaye Diagne scored a goal each.

Senegalese youngster Amadou Ciss scored a brace for his side Fortuna Sittard, who stunned Feyenoord 4-2 on Sunday in the Eredivisie. The 20-year-old has a total of three goals and one assist so far.
