The Wales international put the Gunners ahead on the sixth minute before French defender, Laurent Koscielny, doubled their advantage eight minutes later.
Ramsey added a third for Arsenal, after his shot was deflected, with record signing, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, handed his debut by Arsene Wenger, exquisitely chipped over Jordan Pickford for Arsenal’s fourth, off a brilliant through pass from another January signing, Henrikh Mkhitaryan as the hosts led 4-0 at half time.
The Toffees pulled one back after the break through Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but Ramsey completed his hattrick when he scored his third and Arsenal’s fifth of the evening 16 minutes from time.

“It’s my first hat-trick so one of those moments to remember. We’ve got to keep that quality and focus for the rest of the season now,” hattrick hero, Ramsey said after the game.
A truly dominant and comfortable performance from the Gunners, which leaves them still sixth on the table, but are now just three points behind rivals, Tottenham, albeit having played game more, while Everton drop to 10th.
