Cameroon local national team coach Rigobert Song says his team is battle ready for the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) scheduled for kick-off on January 13 in Morocco.

The former Indomitable Lions captain has published his squad list of 23 players, which includes the one man many Cameroonians can’t wait to watch at the tournament, Union de Douala midfielder David Eto’o, younger brother to Samuel Eto’o.

“He was selected due to his qualities and has nothing to do with the influence of his big brother,” Song said while unveiling the list on Tuesday.

Another player from Union de Douala, Frantz Pangop, who was not on the initial list, was handed a late invitation, which the coach said was meant to beef up his attack.
