World Silver medalist, Odunayo Adekuoroye has been signed by Mumbai Maharathi ahead of Pro Wrestling League Season three that is scheduled to start from 9th January 2018.

The commonwealth Champion who is competing in the women’s 57kg weight category was signed for Rs 35 lakh. The Grand prix champion who is the only wrestler to win the league twice, represented Mumbai Garuda team and Punjab Royals in seasons one and two respectively.

A tweet by the league handle, @Official_PWL read, “World Championship Silver medalist Odunayo Folasade Adekuoroye (@UndisputeOdun1), under 57KG category, grabbed by @MumbaiMaharathi for a whopping Rs 35 lakh”.

Rio bronze medalist, Marwa Amri got signed by Veer Marathas for Rs 25 lakh and will face Adekuorye in the league.
This is the first time both wrestlers will meet in any competitive match.
It will be recalled that both wrestlers won silver medal at the 2017 edition of World Wrestling Championships in Las Vegas, USA.

Adekuroye faces another tough opponent, World Championship Gold medalist, Helen Maroulis of USA who got signed by Haryana Hammers for Rs 44 lakh in the 57kg women’s category.
