The fourth edition of Zainab Saleh International Female Open Karate Championship will hold from October 12th to 14th at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.

In a chat with aclsports.com, the sponsor of the championship, Hajiya Zainab Saleh said the essence of the championship is to encourage female karate in Nigeria.

Hajiya Saleh who doubles as the technical director of Lagos State Karate Association said; “this is to develop the technical abilities of our female karatekas, as well as to create a platform for camaraderie. With each edition, we have noticed the passion and commitment at which the athletes have persevered in order to better improve their skills”.

Hajiya Saleh believes regular competitions would encourage the athletes to win laurels at both national and international events.
