Manchester United are through to their 20th FA Cup final, after coming from behind to beat Premier League rivals, Tottenham in the semifinal of the Emirates FA Cup at Wembley.

United defeated Spurs 2-1 to book a place in the final for the first under manager José Mourinho.

Dele Alli gave Mauricio Pochettino’s side the lead, latching on to a wonderful low cross from Christian Eriksen to put his side 1-0 ahead.

Five minutes later, the Red Devils equalised, after Paul Pogba dispossessed Moussa Dembele, before finding Alexis Sanchez with a lovely cross.

The Chilean made no mistakes from six yards out, finishing with a well placed header, which left Spurs’ goalkeeper Mitchel Vorm rooted to a spot.

It was Sanchez’s sixth goal in the FA Cup at Wembley in his fifth game.

Ander Herrera had United in front after the break, as his low drive sailed past Vorm to give United a 2-1 advantage.

Herrera’s strike proved decisive, with Mourinho’s men holding on for the victory and a place in final next month.

The win sees the Red Devils bounce back from that shock defeat in midweek to West Brom Albion, while for Spurs, a frustrating day sees them lose their 8th  successive FA Cup semifinal game.
