Week 14 of the Nigerian Professional Football League, NPFL, sees  all the teams in action on Sunday, with the game against Akwa United and Abia Warriors in Uyo the pick of the pack.

The CAF Confederation Cup campaigners are in a close battle for the leadership of the league with Lobi Stars, who currently lead them at the top by a point, albeit having played two more games.

Lobi are hoping to return to winning ways after their 2-1 defeat at Nasarawa United last weekend, while Akwa could win a third consecutive game at home for the first time this season.

The Benue side host Rivers United in Makurdi, with the Promise Keepers also at home to Abia Warriors at the Nest of Champions in Uyo.

Elsewhere in the league, defending champions, Plateau United are in Nnewi, where they trade tackles with their hosts, Ifeanyi Ubah, while in Lagos, it’s MFM against Katsina United, with Enyimba away to Yobe Desert Stars in Damaturu.
