The UEFA Europa League has produced an interesting draw for lovers and followers of Nigerian football. The quarter-final draw held today has drawn two Nigerians, Alex Iwobi and Ahmed Musa against each other.

English side, Arsenal, have been handed what appears a very good draw against the team from Russia, CSKA Moscow in the UEL last eight.

After a torrid time at Leicester City, Musa returned to CSKA on loan, and played a key a role as they knocked out French side, Lyon, in the competition’s round of 16.

The Nigeria international scored in that 3-2 second leg win in France and now, will have to repeat the feat when his side take on compatriot, Iwobi, and his Gunners team mates.

Meanwhile, for Iwobi, who was a spectator as Arsenal saw off AC Milan themselves on the round of 16, with the first leg set for the Emirates stadium, the 21-year-old playmaker would be hoping to play a part against his national teammate, Musa, and his club side.

Elsewhere in the draw, Spanish side, Atletico Madrid take on Sporting CP of Portugal, while RB Leipzig would be looking to continue their impressive debut in Europe when they face French side, Marseille.
