Italian champions, Juventus are through to the next round, after a dramatic come from behind 2-1 win against Tottenham at Wembley in their Champions League round of 16 second leg game.

Argentine duo of Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala both found the net as two goals in the space of five second half minutes saw Juve book their place in the last eight with a 4-3 aggregate win.

After coming behind themselves to draw 2-2 in the first leg, Spurs were deservedly put in front by Son Heung-Min, who continues his brilliant scoring form at Wembley.

However, a tactical substitution and change from Juve manager, Massimiliano Allegri, turned the match around and in favour of the Old Lady.

Higuain equalised for the visitors before turning provider for compatriot, Dybala, who finishes superbly to send Juve through.

It was Dybala’s first CL goal in almost a year, and what a time it was to score it.

Spurs piled on the pressure in the latter stages of the game, with Harry Kane hitting the post, but were unable to find the goal that would have seen the game go into extra time.

Juve held on for a very brilliant victory, becoming the first side to beat Spurs this season in the CL, and earning a place in the quarter finals

City go through despite shock defeat at the Etihad

Premier League leaders, Manchester City, are through to the next round of the Champions League despite a shock 2-1 defeat against Basel in the CL round of 16 second leg at the Etihad.

City made nine changes to their team, but despite a handsome lead from the first leg, they started on the front foot and took the lead through the fit again Gabriel Jesus.

However, goals from Mohamed Elyounoussi and Michael Lang sealed a rather unexpected win for Basel.

The Cityzens go through to the quarters, for the second time in their history, with a 5-2 aggregate win, after their impressive 4-0 win in the first leg played in Switzerland.
