The CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU B Qualifiers have reached the semifinals stage, with ASEC Mimosas, USFA, Bayelsa Queens, and Police Ladies all set to battle for a place in the final.
In Group A, ASEC Mimosas topped the group with a flawless record, defeating both USFA of Burkina Faso and AS Garde Nationale of Niger. Ami Prisca Diallo was a standout performer, earning player of the match honors against USFA after scoring a crucial header. Sophie Brou and Essi Dagba also impressed, helping ASEC finish with six points. USFA advance as runners-up, despite a 3-0 loss to ASEC, while AS Garde Nationale bowed out after two defeats.

AS Garde Nationale – 0 pts
In Group B, Bayelsa Queens dominated the group, winning all three of their matches to finish with nine points. Police Ladies secured the second semifinal spot with a 3-1 victory over ASKO. In the final group games, Janet Akekoromewei was named player of the match for Bayelsa Queens in their 4-1 win over Sam Nelly, while Asana Hamidu earned player of the match honors for Police Ladies against ASKO. Sam Nelly and ASKO were eliminated after their group campaigns.

Sam Nelly – 3 pts (-4)
ASKO – 0 pts (-6)
The group stage best XI reflected the top performers across all four teams: three players each from Bayelsa Queens and Police Ladies, two from ASEC Mimosas, and one each from USFA, AS Garde Nationale (GNN), and Sam Nelly.

With the semifinals set, ASEC Mimosas, USFA, Bayelsa Queens, and Police Ladies now have everything to play for, as only two will advance to the final and keep their hopes alive for the WAFU B trophy and West Africa’s spot in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
