Bayelsa Queens and hosts ASEC Mimosas go into the final group games of the CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU B Qualifiers chasing top spot in their groups, with semifinal pairings and West Africa’s sole Champions League ticket at stake.

In Group A, ASEC Mimosas will be aiming to make it two wins from two when they face USFA, who edged AS GNN 1–0 on Matchday 2 in their tournament opener. Both ASEC and USFA sit on three points apiece, having each defeated Niger’s AS GNN. With AS GNN already eliminated after consecutive losses, this clash will decide who qualifies top of the group.

In Group B, defending NWFL champions Bayelsa Queens are in control after back-to-back victories. They will face Sam Nelly, who have three points from two matches but fell 3–1 to Police Ladies on Matchday 2. ASKO remain the only team in the group yet to record a win. A possible twist could come if Sam Nelly beat Bayelsa Queens and Police Ladies defeat ASKO, it could create a three-way tie on six points, where goal difference, head-to-head, or goals scored and conceded would decide the semifinal spots.

The group stage format ensures that the winners of Group A will face the runners-up of Group B, while the winners of Group B will take on the runners-up of Group A in the semifinals.

The two semifinal winners will advance to the final, where the champion will lift the WAFU B trophy and clinch West Africa’s sole ticket to the CAF Women’s Champions League.
