Germany based player, Uchenna Ofoha said his decision to play volleyball for Nigeria is borne out of taking up new challenges on the African continent.

Ofoha who made his debut for Nigeria at the 2019 All Africa Games qualifiers said the country will make an impact at the games proper in Morocco next month.

He said, “I decided to play for Nigeria because it is the motherland for me and I wanted to take on a new challenge. It is amazing to be able to represent my parents’ country and help them succeed.

“The qualifiers was the first step to a special year for Nigeria Volleyball and at the 2019 All Africa Games, we will not disappoint. I am sure we will make an impact in Morocco”.
