Nigeria Correction Service player, Dauda Saje said he is ready to play for the national senior men’s volleyball team.

Dauda Saje was adjudged the Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the recently concluded 2019 National Volleyball League Division one in Bauchi state.

Saje told www.aclsports.com that playing at the division one league has helped him rediscover himself in the 2019 volleyball season

He said, “I am currently ready to play for the nation’s senior men’s team in any international tournament. I am fit and good to go considering the fact that this year has been good to me. Nigeria Correction Service has given me more playing time and my teammates have been wonderful in making me fine my form.

“Emerging the Most Valuable Player in the recently concluded division one league means a lot to me; I promise to continue carrying my team on my shoulder”.

Saje said the next target is to restrategise for next season’s division one league and aim for promotion to the elite league next year.

He said, “Nigeria Correction Service had a wonderful performance at the second leg of the league but our first leg outing jeopardised our chances of making the top two teams. We played with our heart and mind but could not get the ticket. The next step is to focus for next season and we will get it right when we see at the court”.
