Volleyball: Customs to face Al Ahly in Quarter-final clash

Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) will today face host Al Ahly of Egypt in the quarterfinals of the ongoing 2018 Women’s African Club Championship in Cairo.

Both teams will slug it out by 8pm.

Customs confirmed the second ticket to quarter final from pool A along with Prisons who earlier clinched the first. They improved the win- loss ratio to 3-1, while Douanes dropped 0-4.

The ladies in their last game beat Douanes of Burkina Faso 3-1 ((25-10, 21-25, 25-15, 25-17) in pool D.

Before the match against Douanes, Customs bounced back from their loss against Prisons of Kenya to beat Asec Mimosas of Côte d’Ivoire 3-0 (25-15, 25-15 and 25-15).

Other quarter-final matches to be played:

Prisons of Kenya versus Revenue Authority of Rwanda (2pm)

Pipeline of Kenya versus Bafia of Cameroon (4pm)

Carthage of Tunisia versus Shams of Egypt (6pm)
