Israeli side Hapoel Beer-sheva and Turkish Division One leaders Eyupspor are two among European clubs scrambling for the signature of in-form Nigerian star Ibrahim Olawoyin, www.aclsports.com reports.

Olawoyin, 25, has been in a rich vein of form this season for his Turkish Division One side Ankara Keçiorengucu, weighing in with four goals and seven assists so far, making him the leading assist provider in the league.

Olawoyin joined Keçiorengucu from Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side Rangers International in 2021 and has since grown to become the club’s most prized asset after a debut season which saw him produce eight goals and eight assists.

The winger and playmaker was also in impressive form on Thursday night when Keçiorengucu narrowly lost 0-1 to Galatasaray in a Turkish Cup game in Istanbul, a performance which has even cast more doubts on his Keçiorengucu future.

Must be a great feeling for Ibrahim Olawoyin, playing 90 minutes for Ankara Keçiorengucu at Galatasaray in the Turkish Cup. Gala won 1-0 with Olawoyin's shot denied by the post late on.

www.aclsports.com learnt that Keçiorengucu have now resigned to losing Olawoyin in the January transfer window but have rejected a juicy offer from Israeli league 3rd placed side Beer-sheva who have been on his trail since the summer.

Reports in Turkey say that Eyupspor and another Division One promotion hopefuls Çaykur Rizespor are now slugging it out for the services of the former CHAN Eagles star who is known for his trickery, vision and goals involvement.

Eyupspor signed Nigerian forward Emeka Friday Eze from Keçiorengucu last summer and with the forward said to be a pal of Olawoyin, the Division One leaders are hoping he could help them to convince his friend to come to Istanbul.

Keçiorengucu will face Eyupspor in a league game in Ankara on Sunday and that is said to be another avenue for the club’s Number 10 to audition himself even more to prospective suitors.
