Nigerian champions Enyimba FC have received some positive news from the injury front ahead of Sunday’s crucial Total CAF Confederation Cup (TotalCAFCC) clash with Algerian side Paradou AC, www.aclsports.com reports.

The People’s Elephant have failed to win any of their last five games in all competitions, culminating in the sack of head coach Usman Abd’Allah but have now been boosted by the return of key players ahead of Sunday’s clash.

Team captain Andrew Abalogu who missed those five games is back in full contention for Sunday’s game while reliable centre back Nelson Ogbonnaya has also returned after missing the same number of matches.

Sunday’s game, scheduled for 2pm Nigerian time at the Enyimba Stadium in Aba will be the first under interim head coach Fatai Osho and the former Remo Stars helmsman is expected to trust his product at Remo m, Victor Mbaoma upfront.

Enyimba are currently placed third on the Group D table but a win over the youthful Algerian side will take them back to second spot on Sunday.

Winger Stanley Dimgba who missed the last three matches has also returned to full fitness and is expected to feature in Sunday’s game.

The game may however come too soon for club’s vice captain Ifeanyi Anaemena and winger Thomas Zenke who only returned to training this week after some extended period on the sidelines.
