Host Kenya, Namibia, Uganda and Algeria are in Pool B.

In Pool B matches decided on Monday, Kenya and Namibia recorded impressive 3-0 wins over Uganda and Algeria respectively.

Speaking to Nigeria Tennis live, national tennis coach Benson Ishicheli believes Nigeria’s chances of gaining promotion from Group III are brighter after getting a relatively good draw on Sunday.

“Good draw. Group II, here we come.”

Nigeria is ranked fourth in the competition and hopes to get one past their familiar foes in the tournament so as to finally stand a chance of gaining promotion from the World Group III to Group II.
