Foreign based Super Falcons of Nigeria were in action for their respective clubs in the just concluded week as Chiwendu Ihezuo, Francisca Ordega and Asisat Oshoala grabbed the headlines.

In the Chinese Women’s League, the duo of Chiwendu Ihezuo and Onome Ebi of Henan Huishang  came up against Francisca Ordega’s Shanghai with Ordega scoring a brace. In addition to Ordega’s goal, Ihezuo added to her goal tally for her new club but it was not enough to save Henan from the 5-1 thrashing in the hands of the Ordega-led Shanghai team.

Meanwhile, Former African Female Player of the Year Asisat Oshoala made a return from a hamstring injury which she suffered in the famous victory against Atletico Women at the Wanda Metropolitano.
