Solomon Yola the head coach of Kano Pillars handball club said other clubs sides playing against them at the second phase of the league will be brought down on their knees.

Yola told www.aclsports.com that his team will remain on top of the league table till the end of the second phase of the Prudent Energy Handball League in Lagos.

He said, “Kano Pillars is prepared and the preparation is very unusual because we are bringing any other teams down on their knees.

“My team will ensure we maintain our lead; I am aware most teams are warming up very hard to beat Kano Pillars but that is in their imagination” Solomon Yola says.

He revealed that some of his players shuttle between school and the court in order to train hard for the handball league.

He said, “Some of our players are in school and they come to join the team anytime there is training in order for them to become a team and not a one man show squad. I told them to keep their focus because the game of Handball makes you a better person in life.

He commended the present board led by Sam Ocheho for transforming handball in Nigeria

Kano Pillars won 10 games and lost one match in the first phase of the Prudent Energy Handball League in Abuja.
