Super Eagles defender, Olisa Ndah, has joined South African side Stellenbosch FC after leaving Orlando Pirates last month on a free transfer, www.aclsports.com reports.

Ndah, 28, following a trophy-laden stint with the Soweto side, decided to leave by mutual consent in search of more playing time, and has now reached an agreement with Stellenbosch until the end of the season, with an option of another year.

”Stellenbosch is delighted to announce that the Club has acquired the services of defender Olisa Ndah (28),” reads a statement on the club’s website.

“Olisa is a player with proven quality and experience at the highest level, and we are pleased to welcome him to Stellenbosch FC,” CEO Rob Benadie said.

“We are deliberate in our recruitment strategy to ensure that every signing complements the group, and having had the chance to assess him closely, we are confident he will be a valuable addition to our squad.”

Ndah, former league winner with Akwa United, becomes the fourth Nigerian player to represent Stellenbosch, alongside new teammates Ibraheem Jabaar and Kazie Enyinnaya, and former Maroons forward Stanley Dimgba.

The former Remo Stars defender is set to don the No. 99 jersey and could make his first appearance when the club faces Magesi FC in a Betway Premiership fixture on Wednesday evening at Danie Craven Stadium.
