President of Nigeria Wrestling Federation, Daniel Igali assured Nigerians of a positive outing at the World Championship.

Igali noted that records in the wrestling federation speak volumes for the federation and they are leaving nothing to chance to produce a five-star performance in Belgrade, Serbia.

The Olympic gold medallist who doubles as the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Bayelsa State commended the magnanimous role of Governor Douye Diri and his deputy Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo for supporting their camping in Yenagoa.

Igali noted that he was elated with the level of training so far, expressing optimism that Nigerian wrestlers would distinguish themselves at the world championship.

Meanwhile, the Acting Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Adewale Adeniyi charged the wrestlers to make a positive impact at the World Championship.

Adeniyi believes the women’s team can create upsets and become world beaters.
