2016 Paralympic champion, Paul Kehinde said he plans winning a gold medal at the 2020 Para Powerlifting World Cup. The 2020 Para Powerlifting World Cup will hold from 4th to 7th February, 2020 in Abuja, FCT.

The commonwealth champion told www.aclsports.com that winning gold in front of Nigerians will further boost his morale ahead of the Paralympics.

The African champion stated that his challengers do not have the capacity to dethrone him for now.

He said, “My plan is to feature at the 2020 World Cup and win a gold medal on home soil

“I believe as a champion, I have a lot of challengers and individuals who wants to unseat me but I know that I am going to win and conquer them all”.

Kehinde said for him to continue to excel at international tournaments, the country must take care of him adding that he plans setting an everlasting record at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.

“All I need from my beloved country Nigeria, is attention and proper care especially as I prepare for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics because I have promised to set an everlasting record at the games
