Asisat Oshoala and Ashleigh Plumptre headline Super Falcons’ head coach Justin Madugu’s 24-woman squad for the 2024 WAFCON, set to hold in Morocco from July 5th to 26th, www.aclsports.com reports.

Skipper Rasheedat Ajibade leads a roster that blends experience with emerging talent. A total of 11 debutants have earned their first call-up, signalling a bold new chapter for Nigeria’s most successful national team.

From fearless forwards to dynamic midfielders, Madugu’s selections reflect a team built on balance and belief. Notably, three NWFL stars have been included, affirming the coach’s commitment to homegrown talent and a merit-based selection process.

The Super Falcons will kick off their campaign against Tunisia on Sunday, July 6, before facing Botswana (July 10) and Algeria (July 13) in Group B.
