The Afrobasket champion outlined the programme for the 6-day event to ACLSports.com.

“We will have motivational speech, career talk, they will be taught life after basketball and after sports, importance of self-discipline, respect and other things. It goes beyond basketball, it’s about combining basketball and education.”

The former NBA star said the successes of the programme has outshone the challenges faced in the past years.

“There was a time I met a pilot who was my ex-player on my arrival to Lagos from Dakar. He thanked me so much for impacting on him. I have also met bank managers, engineers, CDQ, Deji Akindele, Rasheedat Sodiq etc. I feel happy to see all these people become something in life. It’s very challenging doing it all alone but I am happy to do it. I hope to get sponsors to come support me it will be great,” Oyedeji stated
